Over a decade ago, “Now Ximen” was born from a simple idea:
Why not have a New Year’s Eve stage truly made for the youth?

Two brand founders — Ximen Jing and IMDJ — driven by their passion for music and creativity, decided not to wait any longer. They moved out tables, connected the sound system, and held their first New Year’s Eve performance at the corner of Movie Street. Later, they even bought their own fireworks and began building the stage — because they wanted more people to see and be seen.

Building the stage meant facing many challenges: applying for road permits, ensuring safety, handling administration, and investing significant manpower and resources. But none of these difficulties ever extinguished the fire in our hearts.

Now Ximen is an event with no financial gain, yet full of meaning.
Over the years, countless young creators, DJs, stagehands, musicians, and street performers have poured their hearts into it, all to express their inner voices through their work. When the audience raises their glow sticks and quietly watches the performance on stage, that sense of resonance and emotion feels like returning to youth, sitting on Movie Street and gazing at the sky, wondering: “Can I also create something in the future?”

And when we finally had the ability, “Nao Ximen” became the place where dreams began to come true.

The existence of this stage is not for the lights and sounds, nor to attract attention.
It represents a spirit — to make young voices seen and heard.

Now Ximen is not just an event; it’s a place that accompanies young people through the end of the year and toward the future.
